Most of this week was focuses on gaming, which was great. I was able to do the following:
- Spent Tuesday night playing demo games of Infinity
- Wed had a few friend over and helped him build his Cygnar army. His first list: epic Haley, stormclad, thorn and squire.... sounds friendly, eh? ;-)
- Thursday night, got in a game with a venethrax list I really wanted to try out. Was a lot of fun and for sure, the next infantry unit on my painting bench will be Satyxis raiders after my vacation (I DO have vacation painting though, full unit of Bane Knights)
- Sunday I played three 150 pt games of Infinity again. And I must say, I am really liking how flexible everything is in this game. In these games he showed me TAGs & AD units. Crazy stuff and while I lost all 3 of the games, I would say I learned a lot during each (like, while my Muttiwaih may be impetuous, if I have to run in someones LOF, throw smoke. Don't try and dodge or shoot, unless the chain rifle is in range ;-)). Also got a few more miniatures, janissary w/ SMG, djanbazan w/ smg and 2 more ghulam troopers w/ rifle & LSG.
- Last but not least, full unit of bile thralls completed painting.
This week I don't really have many plans for painting, maybe more assembling the new Infinity figures I got, work on venethrax or maybe even start a bit on the satyxis. We will see.
